As we enjoy a short period of quiet following the Scottish Championships, we are delighted to share a preview of the next three opportunities to hear the band!

We are currently working hard on our programme for the Fife Brass Band Festival entertainment contest, which is to be held on the 26th of April in Lochgelly. The band is looking forward to sharing a range of exciting music and competing with some top-notch bands!

Shortly after that, we are to journey south of the border, to Blackpool, to compete in the British Open Spring Festival - a true highlight of Kinneil's contesting calendar. Our test piece this year is "Fantasy for Brass Band" by Malcolm Arnold, and so far it is proving to be a challenging yet enjoyable piece of classic brass band repertoire.

Finally, the band will return home to Bo'ness to perform in our annual concert. This year it will take place in Fisons, and further details on this can be found on our social media as well as our website. The concert will also feature our incredible youth band, showcasing that the future of Kinneil Band is in safe hands!
