πŸ† Success at the EoSBBA 2025 Solo & Ensemble Contest πŸ†

Our band members had an excellent day at the East of Scotland Brass Band Association Solo and Ensemble Competition held in Edinburgh Gorgie Salvation Army Hall on Saturday 22nd Februrary 2025.

We are over the moon with some of our players performances today :

- Beth Drury retained the ESBBA Junior Solo Contest title by playing Carnival of Venice.

- William Tawn secured 1st place in the Intermediate Solo Contest by playing Grandfathers Clock.

- Our Youth Intermediate Quartet (William Tawn, Rebekah Waugh, Beth Drury & Claire Smellie) were winners in the Ensemble Contest.

Finally our exceptionally talented Solo (Sam Duzinkewycz) and 1st Horn (Roman Scott) players put a phenomenal performance in the Open Solo Contest and were just pipped to the 1st place position by Douglas Couchman from Whitburn Band.

A great day for everyone involved in Kinneil colours. Well done to you all and best of luck at the Scottish Championship finals!
